I am a 55 year old American guy who has spent the last 20 years as a tech executive. I'm a father of two teens, and in the process of getting divorced. So that put's me firmly in a mid-life crisis.

 

I have been working hard to make a plan to shed most of material things and find a way to step out of the rat race and find deeper meaning. I am in the process of wrapping up my career to focus full-time on valuing my time.

 

I have been rebuilding a 36' live-aboard sailboat and intend to travel the east coast of the US, Florida, and the Caribbean for the next few years.

 

I also travel frequently to the Philippines and I am making plans to reside part-time in Southeast Asia.

 

So maybe sharing my thoughts and stories will be interesting to others but I don't really care. It's for me. It's well past time I find Mike.. and that's what I intend to do.

This site is an outlet for my creative skills in writing, story-telling, digital art, and generally sharing my story of making it through my life. It is intended to share my perspective and experience about finding my way to a happier existence. About shedding the chaos of today's western vapid culture and finding happiness.
